I was online trying to figure out how to use Pinterest and while having fun with the pins, I stumbled on some pictures of crochet items. Thought I would share some of the good, bad and unique.

First good one

These are awesome! Not something I would have thought of - crochet shoe (covers)! Love this, will probably give it a try!

While it never occurred to me to make a crochet gas mask and I do not plan to make one, this is definitely up there on the most unique idea I have seen in a long time. I have to say, not sure who made this, but WOW it looks pretty realistic!

This pin mentioned it was from some kind of fashion show. Sorry, I think this is kind of ugly. The model does not look very comfortable either. To me it looks like a good idea gone wrong or maybe gone overboard. Not for me but I am sure there are people that would love it.

All I can say is WOWZERS!!! I am totally going to try to make something like this. The color is awesome, the crochet is awesome and I think it is just awesome!! Did I mention it is awesome?

BRILLIANT idea! Who would have thought to crochet covers for your planters! Sometimes you can get really pretty planters, if you don't mind paying for them. This way you can get the cheaper ones or pick them up at yard sales, and then cover to suite your tastes, decor, theme, etc. Definitely on the to do list!

Seems that free form crochet is all the rage lately. Some looks good, some looks bad, some just makes you go what?!?

This is a skirt that is pretty. Not my style I admit but I think it is gorgeous, love the colors, love the flowers, love the overall design concept.

Followed the pins and found this one the picture isn't all that clear but I love the colors. I am going to add a colorful cape to my list of things to make for sure!

"I’m in love with Prudence Mapstone’s freeform crochet, including this mixed media shawl/ cape called Libertad Artistica. Freeform Crochet cape from the book Freeform Style by Jonelle Raffino and Prudence Mapstone."

Another out side the box idea - I have seen these chairs everywhere, some cheap and some expensive and some just the frame. Now here someone thought to cover hers with granny squares! Great idea, great accessory and great decor idea! Could match anything if you do the traditional granny square blanket idea like this person, or could do in the colors you like best. Too fun!!

Finally had to include this - a HUGE example of crochet. Kids are swinging on yarn covered balls under a yarn covered something. This is a very large yarn bomb project for sure! Kristina and I thought about yarn bombing something but if we do, I think it will be a much smaller project. This is totally cool though!

Thanks for reading! Hope you go out today and look for something unusual and inspirational!

Thanks for stopping by. I thought the gas mask was too funny as well. Good for Halloween maybe.
