Hey everybody! I was cleaning up the other day (I hate cleaning up) and found a shoe caddy, the kind that hang on the back of a closet door. Weird thing to find right? Well originally I was going to use it to grow plants in but I have discovered that my porch gets way too much sun for anything to grow so I was wondering what to do with it.

So in the back of my mind I have this shoe caddy floating around waiting for its moment to strike when I happen to go under the bathroom sink to get a bottle of conditioner and LIGHTBULB! What if I put all this junk in the shoe caddy on the back of the bathroom door?!?

Long story short (too late) it worked better than I had imagined. I thought maybe half the stuff would end up on the door but nope. Almost all of it did. So now I have a nice and organized place for all my bathroom stuff, I can easily see when I am running low, and under my sink is totally organized! Score one for the organizational bug.

I also use a shoe in my craft room for yarn skeins, mom uses one for small projects that need to be completed in hers. I look around and know I need to organize or clean out more areas of my apartment. Where to find the motivation though?

Anyone else have any ideas for organizing or using shoe caddies?  I can tell you both of us need lots of organizing! Tips, hints and experienced direction would be helpful!

Thanks for reading! Kristina

WHAT a great idea!! I can never find anything in my bathroom cupboards and I'm forever stressing and running late because of it. Think you might have found me a solution! :)

She caddies are great for organizing. I have one in my sewing room. Never thought of using one in the bath. Great idea! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

Great idea! I used this idea in my daughter's bathroom about a year or so ago and it has de-cluttered her counter and kept her organized. She puts razors, hair products, mouthwash and even her hair iron and dryer in the pockets. :)

I love over the door shoe organizers! We use one for all our hats & gloves, and I use one when we travel (especially on cruises!).
