Do you like holidays?  All of them or just one or two? I like them all! I celebrate New years, Valentine's day, Easter, St. Patrick's day... I could go on but you get it. I have special decorations for most holidays and I love to buy items on sale after the holiday -  like valentines for my daughter's school class or Easter grass and plastic eggs. I am also big on using things over and over if possible (yes that includes the .99c Easter grass).

Because I do like holidays and have accumulated a lot holiday decorations or themed items,  I decided I really need to organize. I bought some plastic bins, each one is a different color to recognize it by sight. For example, orange bin for Halloween, green & red for Christmas, etc. In the bin I placed that holiday's decorations and assorted items - like Halloween has some costumes and treat bags (no candy, I don't store that from year to year, I wonder if I could). Then I stacked up the bins in my daughter's closet for easy access but still out-of-the-way-ness.

Our of all my bins, my favorite is the Summer Bin! It has all our beach stuff in it and rather than scurry around and gather up everything, I have it all ready and rarin' to go. I pull the bin out and throw it in the trunk of my car, grab some water and snacks (and fold out chairs ^^) and we are ready to head to the beach! I love how convenient is to have everything all together in one place and easy to access.

Not all of the holidays need giant bins of course, sometimes a shoe box size is all you need, it all depends on how much stuff you have for that holiday or occasion. Just grab an extra bin to stack your shoe boxes in!

I hope I have inspired you to get a few bins of your own! Yay organizing!
