Kristina found some white dress shirts during a clean up at her house and you know us, we had to tie dye them.....

I think I have always loved bright, cheery colors but the last few years I have really fallen in love with tie dye!

This shirt had lace and ribbon on it and was adorable - we just lightly folded and added a few rubber bands then dyed it some purple. Turned out real nice!

This one actually was the last we did and we used all the scraps of dye, I like color though so looks good to me!

You can see we folded it at an angle from right shoulder to the left hem twisted it a bit and added a few bands. I like how you can see how the pattern goes across the shirt.

You can probably tell, I am not super focused on getting a pattern, I like the way the dye makes a 'picture' all by itself by folding or twisting.

This pink and fushia beauty was also twisted at an angle and tied in a few places. We added the pink dye first, leaving undied areas, then went back and filled in with the fuschia - this is a good way to get several colors on an item without ending up with mud brown.

On this shirt you can really tell about the twist in the rings. I have been trying to experiment with just doing a twist and tie and the tightness of the twist makes a difference in the pattern.

This shirt was actually alight green, kind of boring, and even though I like green, not very attractive. So we added more green - teal really.  This one was twisted very tight and you can tell the dye did not get all the way into the twists. You can see the circle pattern from where we twisted from neck to hem and then banded it. I did think it was pretty so I left it as is.

This was a ladies golf shirt, no idea why Kristina had this, I swear I have never seen her wear one. (I bought it for work, they said collared shirts but it turns out that was just for guys. lol - Kristina) Anyway, we again folded on the angle and then banded. We used orange and teal so it looked like a Miami dolphins shirt.

While the Miami dolphin look was not planned, the shirt looked so good, it gave me the thought we should try some more in team colors. Keep an eye out!

It's easier than you think! As you can guess, I have a TON of tie dye - shirts mostly but some pants and shorts. I had a dress, but Kristina stole it! THIEF!! Give it a try!

Thanks for visit my blog. I have never ate sweet potato pie, but I think it probably has a similiar taste to sweet potato pudding. I would make sweet potato pie someday. You can make sweet potato pudding without parmesan cheese. This is my own recipe.

Hey Cecilia - thank's for visiting! I am going to make it but follow the recipe first as is. Otherwise, I won't know if I like it! Pie is awesome! But very hard to find in the store, so I should make it myself but....I don't lol. We should find a good recipe to try!
