Dr Akilah El – Celestial Healing Wellness Center
The Natural Health and Holistic World According to Dr Akilah El
Growing your own food is exciting, not only because you get to see things grow from nothing into ready-to-eat fruits and veggies, but you also don’t have to worry about the pesticides they might contain, and you definitely cut down on the miles they—and you—have to travel.

HOW IT WORKS: Each plant is assigned a nickname that’s derived from it’s physical appearance. The nicknames serve as a springboard to each plant’s mnemonic (memory technique); and the mnemonics are designed to aid in immediate plant identity without need of a book or having to remembering multiple common names or the scientific name of each plant.

Newborns In Need
We mentioned them on our About Us page but they deserve a paragraph here. Its our duty as humans to care for those too small or too weak to care for themselves and the preemie babies fall into both of those categories. Help give the little ones a fighting chance by helping out with Newborns in Need.

Bevs Country Cottage
I think I've mentioned her in a few blogs, and linked to her great size charts in a few of my patterns so I think she deserves a spot here for sure. Its Bev's Country Cottage. Her size charts are amazingly helpful and I use them all the time to make sure I'm on the right track. Admittedly I edited her circumference chart to be a diameter chart for ease of measuring to find out there is a very small difference (small but important) difference in many of the hat sizes. If you make anything baby related I strongly suggest you check out her size charts first.

Free Pattern, Crochet Plushie
It looks soft and squishy. April Draven's Blog is one of my favorites. Her stuff all looks so amazing (especially her hats!, I love hats). This is one of her free patterns of a cute stuffed star. Browse her shop and see why I love it.

Head Huggers, free hat patterns
Like I said, I love hats. I admit I prefer to make my own hats and therefore my own patterns, but I love looking at their pictures, and they do have some great looking hats. Check them out.

Rheatheylia
Rheatheylia also has some really beautiful hats. I love the Cable look. Its simple beauty is deceptively complicated. I have made two of her patterns, the cable hat for my husband and the divine hat for a friend of mine. She says they aren't beginner patterns but they aren't too hard either. She makes them easy to understand and has great pictures.

KnottyGeneration
I made this great 4 leaf shamrock for St. Patrick's day. I probably could have been creative and made one on my own but I was in a hurry and this one was just so cute. It was super easy and only took me a minute. Great pattern.
