Every once in awhile I feel the need to reevaluate. Reevaluate my course in life, in business, in everything. Well that happened recently. We have been focusing on making stuff, lots of stuff, why?  It's fun to veg out while making the same thing 20 times till it becomes muscle memory, but it's not very fulfilling. Recently I have discovered that making patterns is more fulfilling.

Coming up with something totally new (at least new to me) and seeing it finished is amazing. Writing the pattern is a pain but being able to share my new creation is intensely satisfying. While I'd love to share with the world for no profit I do need money to buy more yarn, lol. I would also like to eventually make crocheting my livelihood (can you help me out with that?). Anyways, you will see our shop slowly morph into a pattern shop, and see our patterns get better and better.

We would love suggestions on how to improve, types of things you would like to see patterns on, and any other feedback you care to provide. (you can have a coupon for serious feedback, just provide your email or etsy name, or email us at [email protected]). We are looking for a serious crocheter that would be willing to proof our patterns, and established bloggers to review them. Any help you could provide would be super.
Thanks for reading this blog by the way. We really appreciate it. It's nice to have somewhere to think out loud where someone might care or gain something by it. So thanks for reading! Kristina

I love the shawl with the hood. That would take me a really long time to make, lol.

Best of luck with selling your patterns. I do think writing one would be a lot of work. I really need to try crocheting again. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
