Seems all the rage is personal cloths so I decided to make some of my own. Everyone has different sizes so I made some in various sizes and decided I liked ones that were 4in by 6in. I am using these just for number 1 but man already the difference it has made in my tp consumption! Great way to reduce your carbon foot print!

I had bought a huge piece of this floral flannel at a yard sale. So I cut a piece (doubled) that was about 20" by 18". I cut that into 6" wide strips then each strip into 4" pieces.
Nice stack!

In the theory of keeping it simple, I decided not to sew, flip and sew. I just carefully sewed in a zig zag pattern close to the edges.

Then trimmed the edges with my cool pinking shears.

They worked out great and I love them! If you are wanting some for yourself but don't sew, don't stress about it. Run to the store and buy one of those large packs of wash cloths, that's what my grandma used and they work great too and are pretty inexpensive.

Have a great one, thanks for reading!

Hey Catherine, they work great, reduce waste and cheaper than tp! Let us know if you switch and what you think about it. :)

I like the idea of using these after urinating, and since I'm the only female in the household it will work. My menfolk looked at me like I had two heads when I mentioned it. hahahaha

Same situation - only female with very skeptical males. Just ignore them, I do :)

I have never heard of personal cloths. Hey, it worked in the olden days. Certainly would now too. Thanks for sharing with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
