I became the proud owner of a couple dozen used jeans in several colors as well as some khaki pants. So....hey how about figuring out 101 ways to reuse jeans? Great idea!!
Picture
Way number 1 is these cute toddler backpacks and/or shoe bags if you travel. I used blue jean legs and khaki legs. I found the instructions here:

I used the secret pocket and crochet applique to decorate my bags.
These bags are too cute and super easy to make.

I followed instructions for the blue jean bag but experimented a bit with the khaki one.

For the khaki bag I cut out the leg in one long piece and folded it in half, saving myself from having to sew along the bottom. It did make a slightly odd shaped bag (wider bottom than mouth) but still useable!

Not sure if I misunderstood her instructions but I ended up needing two pieces of cording to get the bag to draw properly.

Let me know if you try your own jean bag or have any other cool ideas to reuse jeans!
Thanks for reading, Millie

Love the mushroom! Jeans are great for so many things. I have used them in patch quilts and my cousin made a cute apron out of jeans. The bag is really cute. Thanks for sharing it with SYC.
hugs,
Jann
